Robb to WOW audiences at Pirate Contemporary Art

The Gestalt Effect opens in Denver, CO on April 29th, 2011.Craig Robb will be opening a much anticipated new exhibition of works later this month at the Historic Pirate: Contemporary Art in Denver, CO. These new works come together in a show titled, The Gestalt Effect.

Robb describes the exhibition, "The Gestalt effect is the form-generating capability of our senses, particularly with respect to the visual recognition of figures and whole forms instead of just a collection of simple lines and curves. This body of work started with an idea about the lines we make as artists and how they define us," continues the artist. "It soon became a study of process and multiples, which evolved into an exploration of repetition and ritual."
